I am White but a lurker. I am also a minority, so I can understand some of the things that are written here, I thought it's intresting.

You write something about those teaching jobs. Do you think these guys are happy? Why would anyone who has a healthy mind move to Asia? It's an intresting continent, lot's of culture and history, but living there as a White person? You must be fucked up, mentally ill to move there to teach English to children while everyone else back home makes career.

I researched about this whole thing once because I thought it's unfair as well but after seeing how they live in one room apartments, thousands of kilometres away from family and friends, in a country where 90% despises them, where you are foreign to a culture, an outsider without language skills, with mostly fake friends who use you to learn English or other loser expats, who teach English .. to children .. in their late twenties or early thirties, after seeing that, I don't think these guys actually are happy.

When they see how people back home build houses, step up in their career and improve their life, they can't be happy in their one room apartment, where they could get kicked out if the boss decided not to pay anymore. These guys must have really bad social problems back home, no one who is right in their mind would do it. If they ever go back home, they have nothing to write in their CV because while at the same time other applicants attended internships, they taught English .. to children, as grown men. Any boss who is right in his mind will throw this application in the garbage. (My old boss did it).

Furthermore, White people do not have it always easy. You can be White, but a minority. Happens all the time here in Europe. Asians are more popular for the job market than East Europeans, Spanish, Italians, Turks etc.
