What would be the best way to go about getting better at medic?

Hey, I've been playing medic in 6s for several years now, but I started off in competitive in highlander, both have a good general idea on what a medic should do though. * Know that you are public enemy #1, so pay attention to where the enemy team is, and keep yourself moving. Your medi gun stays attached to your heal target no matter where you're looking, so you can consistently check your flank so long as the heal target doesn't move too far off. Have fov_desired set to 90 to increase your peripheral view as well. * Learn the calls of the map and start letting the team know where you are and where you're going, such as "heals are house" "I'm backing out through choke" or "I have no heal target on second" * If the team knows where you are, alert them of what is coming towards you and the pocket, or what can keep you down. Such as a bombing soldier, or a sniper watching the choke. * Keep yourself out of view, don't be in the open for too long, and keep some cover on you. Minimize the amount of ways an enemy can reach and see you. * Keep a good range between you and the pocket, don't be the full range of your beam, but don't be up his ass either. This allows room for them to move around, and get through chokepoints to check for sticks, snipers, and what could kill you before you come through. * Alert your team of your uber percentage once it gets to 70, then again at 85, and when it's full. You can also mask the "I am charged" saying the medic does when he hits full uber by using another voice command, a quiet one such as the negative or jeers work well. * Pop the uber either when the pocket or whoever you're going in with says to hit it, your pocket is about to turn the corner into an area where they will be shot down quickly (like a last point), or the pocket is about to die in a very vulnerable area * Pop it for yourself if you are 80 or below and there is presence of the other players. This one is really up to your judgement, but just remember to pop it, don't drop it. If you need anymore help, you can add me and give demos to me and I'll try to give more specific info, and I can even play some lobbies with you to help. Also, don't take everything lobby players say to heart, they are really salty and rude to medics, even the good ones.
