In our mid-season update, we're improving your experience with updated gameplay, a solid update to our core player line-ups as depicted in real football, a new UI design and much more! You'll now retain all your progress from this season and can continue to improve your Ultimate Team™.

Season progression
The FIFA Mobile season will continue as planned as we approach mid-season! As this is a mid-season update, you won't lose any of your team's progress. As has been the case over the past few months, the OVRs of new players in events will continue to increase, especially as we introduce exciting new events!
In terms of grades, player training levels and skill upgrades for this season, there are no changes yet. We are continuing to review them and will release more details in due course.
When does the season reset?
The update will take place at the end of September/October,it will only relate to the fifa mobile game name change
When is the squad reset?
No, as this is a mid-season update, it will not affect your team and progress as well as subsequent mid-season activations
FIFA World Cup 2022 ™ mode
The mid-season update will kick off with one of the most anticipated moments, the FIFA World Cup 2022™ !
Feel the thrill of competing against your favourite nation in the FIFA World Cup 2022 ™ mode ! Play any of the 32 authentically eligible national teams, including Argentina, Brazil, England, France, Germany and Spain. We are excited to share more information soon and delve deeper into what to expect at FIFA World Cup 2022™.
New gameplay updates, including advanced passing
We're adding new types of passing and control to help you dominate ball possession! Break through opposing defences with powerful, dynamic passes, find space to create opportunities in tight gaps with quick passes and organise your team with trigger attacks.

If you are in Canada or India, there is a limited beta (Android only) available where you can test Advanced Passing. Try it out HERE .
Updated core player list
The updated core player list is here, reflecting recent moves made during the summer transfer window.
You will keep the core players you already have in your inventory, but you may notice adjustments made to them to reflect the actual changes to better simulate the state of real football. Here are some examples of attributes that may change: OVR, league, team, position, skill upgrades and stats.
Only current core player positions will be affected, no previous event player positions will be updated to reflect transfers.
New club uniforms + new crests/national team uniforms
In addition to this, you will also be able to equip your Ultimate Team™ with new club uniforms for 2022-2023, allowing you to shine in their new jerseys when playing in FIFA Mobile! New national team crests and outfits will also be added for Croatia, Ghana and Qatar.
Fresh new look
The mid-season update will bring a fresh new look to FIFA Mobile inspired by the FIFA 23 game and the World Cup! When you log in to the game, you will notice a new UI skin with amazing visual effects!
That concludes most of the mid-season update! Along with these great additions, such as FIFA World Cup 2022 ™ and Advanced Passing, there are a number of general and gameplay-related improvements in the pipeline. We can't wait to bring you the release date of the mid-season update soon!
