Other - Taken accidentally by a 3rd party

The night pictures are what I keep getting stuck on. They just don’t make sense. Some have theorized that the girls were using the pictures to tell a story but I just see don’t see that as plausible considering the camera was capable of taking video and I’m sure they were well aware of it. I keep tossing around the idea that maybe the girls ran into trouble with one of the locals that wasn’t technologically savvy and had no idea how to work the camera and took the pictures while playing with it.

Of course the idea doesn’t match perfectly with some of the other evidence found but I’m afraid we might never find out the answer.
