What's 100% a scam but we accepted it in our society?

Look, if you can comfortably afford that and still achieve life goals/not give up much later, you can throw an off the chain party. Stood in a wedding that probably cost a decent house in most mid sized cities around the country. Incredible food and parties around a destination wedding. They have the funds to afford it, it was rad, a lot of the folks there (like me) could never afford to attend that kind of gathering normally, and the locals made a killing off it.

If you’re taking on debt or putting off some other purchase or could otherwise use those funds for other purposes than sitting in a bank account earning you interest you’ll probably never spend? F that noise. Not worth it.
