What's the most terrifying thing you've seen in real life?

That's heavy, man. I wish I could have done more at one instance when we were driving on the highway on the way to the airport to drop someone off. It was the most disturbing thing I'd ever seen. The highway was super dark and we kept seeing cars ahead of us swerve out of the way for something. When we approached all I saw was an arm flying. I wasn't too sure I saw it, but I'm pretty sure my parents saw it as well. We drove to the airport and I told my dad to stop so that I could tell the cop. The cop didn't seem like he believed me but he said he'd tell someone about it. On the way back, we saw two cop cars with flashlights looking for something. Pretty sure it was body parts. I didn't sleep at all that night, and the vision still haunts me to this day. I wish I could have done more too. I started to look it up on the news to see if there was any information on the incident. There was one little article saying that it was a homeless woman that had walked on the highway. They didn't know who she was or what had happened. Chilling stuff.
