What's one mistake you will NEVER make again with a woman and why?

This may not be related to your situation— but I’ve been told in each of my relationships that my crying was manipulative, and I think now most men just cannot recognize genuine sadness. I never cried to manipulate, it only happened if things had gotten really terrible in the relationship and I couldn’t stop the tears.

Something to check maybe. Just because you may have a thought that it’s manipulative doesn’t mean it was.

Also, silent treatment is a form of communication that can be fixed with better communication and trust. Not to take away from your situation, I just think a lot of people don’t recognize these things aren’t necessarily the abusive behavior they are deemed to be.
