What's the point of life?

There is no point, but that's where you are suppose to find meaning. If there was a specific "point" in a sense then everyone's lived would ultimately be the same, dreary, monotonous existence leading to said point, whatever it may be.

You get to create that meaning yourself by deciding what you want out of life. Do you want to go the route of most people and work 5 days a week? Find a significant other, marry, reproduce, and grow old together? Maybe you don't want kids, maybe you don't want to share your time with anyone at all.

Maybe you don't want possessions or to work at all, maybe you find meaning in other things in life like exploring nature and seeing as much of this planet as you can before you die. So maybe you decide to travel and hitch hike for a few years. Maybe you find meaning and happiness in creating things, like music or art.

Who knows? Nothing does make sense. It's not suppose to. I'm sorry if this isn't very comforting, but that is the beauty of life to me. There is no set path, there are no real rules saying you have to do X or Y to be happy. You get to decide these things yourself, and it's truly one of life's greatest freedoms.

I hope you find your calling one day friend, if you ever need anyone to talk to because your struggling or just bored feel free to reach out any time.
