What's something you didn't know about yourself until somebody told you?

Created a reddit account for this.

I talk about my Dad literally all the time and didn't realise until the last year of school when a boy (a jock type who did not like me, and was trying to embarrass me) stated I constantly boast/talk/ about him.

My dad is best friend - he was a son of an Irish immigrant in the UK who arrived when looking for a flat to rent it would state 'No Blacks, No Pets, No Irish!'. He worked hard and managed to get a place at a grammar school and travelled 2 hours there and back everyday. He read mechanical engineering at Exeter university then went on to train to be an accountant. He is now owns a small company which essentially acts as an estate agent for buying & selling companies based in Mayfair. My Dad has is a modest man, he could drive a 'flashy' car, have a nice rolex and fly around the world in first class. However, he drives an 13 year old Volvo, a £20 swatch and takes the family on holiday to the English seaside. He has always made me have a job, I have had a paper round since I was 10. He strongly believes in education and has supported my education thoroughly and strongly believes in it, he sent me to a school where the motto was 'a good education is a fortune you can never spend.' I am now reading what I have always wanted, Philosophy and Psychology at New College, Oxford to hopefully one day research and propose an ideology on how to treat mental illness. He also supports my homosexual brother who is a (wannabe) musician in a band with similar style to green day, he has never missed one of their gigs despite despising the music.

I did not know I boasted constantly about my Dad until someone told me. It did not stop, I am doing it on this thread right now. I am proud son who admires and loves his Dad.
