What's the toughest "would, you, rather" question to answer?

Started...encountering this about three weeks ago. I'm a server. I work at a fine establishment which boasts itself as an international provider of one specific breakfast food. When I was hired I was told that I would be full time. Which I was. Then my schedule was cut to one day a week and the weekends, which would be cool, if they weren't constantly hiring people who barely wanted to work. When I approached my GM, I was told I needed to get more surveys. Huh. Like on the receipts, which I give to my customer? How on God's green earth do I control that? By stealing them from customers and doing them myself. I basically have to demonstrate how dishonest I am, in order to work a schedule with decent hours. Which is bullshit. I honestly give my guest their receipts, explain the concept and hope for the best. Which does not cut it because the mandatory amount of surveys is ridiculously high and you must score 85 percent or more. Sometimes I go in the break room and everyone is doing everyone else's. Which isn't fair because I don't know any of my co workers. I come to work, try to do a good job and be honest and get penalized for it. It's corrupt as fuck. I'm mostly pissed because of this one specific incident, though. My regular and his wife came in literally on my shift only. They'd request me up front. They were really old but together and active. The wife died and my regular came to the restaurant immediately after leaving the hospital where she passed, looking for me and to tell me. My schedule was cut and I wasn't there....

I don't have any friends. I love my regulars. I look forward to serving them and as such when I found this out it really hurt. I told them my hours were cut and he couldn't understand. Told me I was among the top servers there. Now, he only comes in on Tuesdays which is when I work.
