When abortion was illegal: untold stories (1992) - stories of what women were willing to do in times of desperation, knowing that it could lead to tremendous pain, injury, infertility and death. We never talk about how things used to be, and how history could repeat itself if we let it

No. We should be more pro-active with preventive care. A big part of the abortion push is that we don’t teach children about sex when they reach puberty so we have children walking around in elementary (because, yes, even third to sixth graders start puberty) and middle school pregnant. At that point we wouldn’t be teaching “women” it’s okay to have children, we would be teaching children that it won’t ruin their life.

And furthermore your statement suggests that women abort out of being ashamed of having a baby, or thinking it will ruin their life, which isn’t 100% true. Also, it’s really condescending to say “teach women.” You think the campaign should be to teach a whole gender about their bodies? Good luck.
