Every now and then, pleasantly rarely but it happens, you run into a guy who is a little bit of an ass

Maybe its someone overly concerned with the efficiency of their play, which is fine, but instead of finding a group of like-minded people to play the game perfectly with they just run public missions and take out their frustrations on anyone who messes up or doesn't have the optimal build for their weapon or frame, which is less fine

Or maybe they're like the guy in OP's screencap, constantly projecting an attitude of being inconvenienced by social interaction with other people in this multiplayer game, who desperately want you to know how much they don't care about you.

I have unwittingly made in-game friends with several of these people and multiple have revealed an interesting, if a little obvious in hindsight, detail about themselves that made all the puzzle pieces seem to fall into place...

I want you to keep this in mind if and when you encounter toxicity in this or any game:

These people are usually edgy teenagers IRL... or younger.

Once I figured that out I stopped taking people being shitty in public sorties and kuva siphons seriously
