When's the last time Republicans solved anything?

They run on lower taxes and lower deficit promise. Only one of these can be achieved, and it is always lower taxes. They already end up increasing the deficit.

They also run on the promise of small government, which usually means cutting government social services because any cuts are more then offset by spending in other places, e.g military.

They also claim to be business friendly, which means (besides lower taxes), climate, safety, and health related regulations are scaled back. For example a new republican president will immediately open up protected regions for drilling.

So, no, they do get a lot done to advance their objectives. It is just that you and I don't see it as getting things done.
