Which actor seems to only play themselves?

Tom Hanks lately. I really like him and I think he's a good actor. But it's just him acting how he thinks he would if he was this person, not so much playing/embodying another character. Bridge of Spies is just Tom Hanks if he were a lawyer and asked to negotiate a prisoner swap. There is nothing of the real life person who did those things in the performance. I love T-Hanks so I don't mind one bit but he's drifted far into that comfortable place far from the days of Gump et al.

Samuel L Jackson as well, but he's open about that. Does one or two takes and tells the directors to make it work. He's been in over 100 films I think and didn't start acting on screen til quite far into his life.
