Which leg to lead with on return of serve?

When I’m facing an opponent that likes to flick serve more regularly, I stand more evenly balanced between my front and back leg, than if I were facing someone that generally served short more often, as I’d then be able to move back quicker than if I had most of my weight on my leading ‘non-racket’ leg. I think the Indonesians do this quite regularly, but again I think they can afford to be a little bit later to the short serve as they are generally more skilful and consistent in their net play to hit a better quality shot from a shuttle that’s lower than the net cord.

Against that kind of opponent I then generally lead with my non-racket leg and do a ‘half step’ towards the shuttle so I’m still taking it early but not committing enough to the short serve that I get caught out with the flick, as at my level I generally ‘toe the line’.
