It depends on what your standards are for what you see as high maintenance. Someone can have simple needs that feel high maintenance to you because you're not naturally gifted to provide them in a relationship or if you just simply can't feel comfortable with the amount that they need it.

ESFJ's Ti is inferior. Someone like me might argue that it's exhausting to get them to see reason and that they need too much attention, approval, and visible enthusiasm from an inferior Fe user like myself.

Yet, these are incredibly simple needs to understand. It's not their fault I get tired from doing it to that degree. But to me, they feel high maintenance.

My Fe is inferior. Someone could easily say that trying to talk matters of the heart with me is frustrating and difficult. That anything I do from a place of feeling is either dangerously impulsive or horribly overanalyzed. An ESFJ would say I'm a piece of work, lol
