White Supremacists Have No Place In The Canadian Armed Forces

Not everything on the far-right is white supremacy. And Salon is not a trust source, Kinsella. Proud Boys is probably a hate group, but it's not a white supremacist organization (do Liberals even know what that is, anymore?) The problem with painting every far-right group white supremacy is that it characterizes every conceivable right-wing protest as promoting white supremacy. There's a difference between white supremacy, nationalism, right-wing populism, and just being political incorrect. There's certainly a difference between "mastrubation is bad" Proud Boys and fucking Nazis.

With all that being said... the CF is right to bar egregious political activity (although, I doubt aboriginal CF members would receive as much criticism if they engaged in a similar protest) but we need to be careful with characterization of protesters and groups. Otherwise, Kinsella will be on par with the Rebel. Ultimately, if you want to fight against Proud Boys and so-called white supremacy, you need to give young men the freedom to associate freely. It's damaging when feminists and other groups prevent male-focused clubs from being form on campus. Men will not turn to Proud Boys if they have a more healthy avenue.
