Me and a couple of friends were in Lake Louise, Canada. Some locals gave us directions to a nearby lake we could canoe on and tell us we can walk there - it's a couple miles away.

About half hour into our walk a car pulls up beside us, an elderly couple tell us to get back to our vehicle, we say we don't have one. The lady told us to get in because there's a big ass grizzly bear around the corner that's just woken up from hibernation.

They turned the car round to show us the bear so we could get some pics then drove us back into town. They took a picture of us so they could show their family then went on their way.

So, thanks strangers who stopped us getting eaten by a grizzly bear!
