Who is that player on the waiver wire everyone will go crazy for in week 1?

The Carr talk falls into the exact same category.

I honestly can't believe you think dominator and target share has any impact on the player comparison. Ruggs played at Bama in the best WR core in the country. That's all that needs to be said about it. It doesn't take a genius to figure out why Edwards had a higher target share. Honestly if your entire justification on this topic is college production, then there is no point in talking further. You seem to just look at numbers that back up your opinion, without any understanding of what those numbers actually mean.

You also seem to be getting the convoluted idea that Edwards is somehow a better player and more pro ready based on college production. That is simply not true, by any stretch of the imagination. We know who the better player is. The only question there is in this situation, is who is going to be getting a better opportunity in the offense?

We know what Edwards' role is going to be. Tyrell got what, 4 touches a game? The slot/intermediate role with Renfrow last year was getting 5-6+ each game, plus Waller. Ruggs' routes are primarily short and intermediate, exactly where Carr is comfortable throwing the ball. As said in my previous comment, Carr is one of the worst at getting balls to his outside receivers in the league.

Since Ruggs is a better player, moving into a more established role and playing with a QB that favors said role, the assumption is that he is going to be doing better in that offense. Your rationale for Edwards seems to be a bit misguided.
