I know that defending the richest man of the world is kinda stupid but i still don't like misinformation.

Cobalt is used in a lot of different lithium ion batteries and it's likely that your phone or laptop uses it aswell, and when getting bigger amounts of cobalt it is very hard or even impossible to make sure there is no child labour involved.

On the other hand its not bad to shame big companies for not even trying, but only focusing on Elon musk (not even tesla) is a bit dishonest in my opinion.

In the end tesla and other big companies are trying to find a replacement for cobalt in the batteries and probably also because of (sometimes wrong) memes like this.
