When I was, like, thirteen, I got into erotic World of Warcraft fanfiction.

This was around 2006, this great period in time when internet was widely available and parents hadn't yet picked up on the fact that they should supervise their kids' use of it. Christ, I hope I don't have any identifying information attached to this handle. A few of my friends have it, but, oh well, I've said worse shit than this to you guys.

Anyway, there was this one story I really liked. I think it was about a night elf warrior that drank a potion that grew her a temporary schlong, and then somehow she got roped into whoring at the Lion's Pride inn.

I still wonder what effect reading shit like that had on young me's neurological development. I'm doing alright now, so I guess it was all good.

Anyway, this story, it became my holy fucking grail, because one day the author either got found out by an SO and removed it from the forum it was hosted on, or it got lost in a reset the site did later, or some combination of both.

It was popular and had somewhat of a following, so there were whispers even years on of people who had saved backups of it and shit, but fuck if I ever PMed someone on that site who actually came through on that. Last time I checked was in like 2014.

I'm sure if I actually were to find it I would be disappointed, because the majority of fanfiction is usually amateurishly written, you know, it's not exactly Stephen fucking King. But god would I get a good laugh if that ever popped back up somewhere.
