I think it’s mostly first time voters - or people who voted for PPP in past (so people voting for someone who’ll give them personal favours I guess).

But, there was a more support till before his term started and a lot of support among educated bunch before his dharna. His language and actions during dharna lost him a lot of support.

Like, I’m from a well educated + religious neighbourhood. And people either voted for that religious collation (mainly they voted due to Jamat-e-Islami. But many didn’t vote for them the collation because Jamat-e-Ulama-e-Islami headed it and they saw them as corrupt.) or PTI (because they didn’t like PPP or PMLN. And religious collation was headed by someone they saw as corrupt. So like let’s try the guy).

His support has fallen drastically now though. I think in future either we’ll get a new party - one having fresh faces other than just PM - or maybe a PTI PMLN two party system. I really hope PPP dies off.
