If you don't take it seriously, if you don't respond seriously, you aren't here in good faith. You don't want to change my mind, because you've been dismissive from the start.

It's not a trap, the belief that we shouldn't be systemically oppressing anyone on their innate traits is foundational to my worldview; most people's worldview; if it's not to yours... well...

They are slowly attempting, in some marginal ways, to create a more egalitarian society. Some factions resist this because they would, as a bloc (not as individuals), lose prominence.

Sure, and some factions want to institutionalize systemic oppression of White people because they're racist and want to see White people suffer.

Don't ascribe the position to me that I don't want to lose prominence, I've explicitly stated my position, and I've never known privilege, you know nothing about the communities I grew up in or how I've interfaced with institutions in my life.

In your view, what is to be done?

Some level of affirmative action based on affluence, an acknowledgement of culture being a causal factor in outcomes. Appropriate mental health funding, nationalized health-care for all, a whole assortment of things.

Not systemic oppression of ethnic groups, which seems to be your solution.
