Women who think that only men should be drafted in the event of a war. Why ?

Female overseas war veteran commenting: one individual who doesn't want to be in uniform endangers the whole unit. An all volunteer armed forces is the way to do things, except in rare circumstances such as national defense. In Ukraine, right now: those defenders don't need to be told what they're fighting for.

That said, gender discrimination is asinine. Civilian men who have to file draft registration paperwork feel that for a day; I dealt with the other side of it for years. Sometimes that was Congress's doing. Other times it was a senior NCO who took more qualified females out of rotation during the most dangerous part of deployment and filled the rotation with junior males those women had taught. Those women were fully capable and wanted to do the job. That type of discrimination is no good for morale. And it doesn't make the best use of personnel.

Basically I don't agree with the OP's premise in this conversation.
