Eh. I don’t think a messy car always translates to neglect. I religiously take care of the maintenance of my car but my interior is pretty trashed. I commute 15-20 hours a week, work 40 hours, and am working on two doctorate degrees simultaneously. I eat all my meals while driving. I have to change clothes and do my make-up in the car too. The busy schedule means I’m usually gone 16-18 hours a day and it’s always dark when I leave or get home. Since it’s dark, It’s hard to see to clean out the vehicle daily and I don’t want to linger outside late at night because I’ve had some unsafe moments with men. The car gets messy real quick.
