Worst scenario for society with no retirement savings?

Massively in debt with assets is still massively in debt. You've scored no points. I said in debt, not negative net worth.

If I could waive a magic wand and make the debt go away, yes, of course that would be better.

At least you'll admit that much, even if you go back to fantasy land the sentence after.

in reality, paying off $20T of debt is worse than keeping it. In fact, attempting to pay it off would probably make it worse, since it would kill the economy.

Citation needed dude. Totally baseless claim.

there's little reason to pay off the debt when it's so manageable

Again, citation needed. "Manageable" isn't a real thing here. It's ballooning extremely fast and your repeatedly stating inflation is good (despite the fact you could inflate your currency and use that newly printed green to pay off the debt long term so it's dishonest. You're pretending inflation is exclusive to being massively in debt when it isn't) doesn't actually MAKE it good.

I'm not looking for FREE healthcare. I'm perfectly willing to pay for it. Now who's trotting out the strawman?

You mean you're looking to make another class of people subsidize yours while you pay a small fee. That's not quite the same.
