You’re allowed to give an F huh? They’ve basically been banned at my school. Not without a mountain of documentation showing that you went far above and beyond and reached out outside of school, provided meaningful catch-up for every single failed assignment, have talked to parents, counselors and conferences with the principal. Then we can give one point below a D so that the kid can have the opportunity to pass still with edgenuity in a week after you give them the F. It’s so much work that any teacher who doesn’t want to spend hours of overtime dealing with it just give them a 70 and move on with life since that’s what will ultimately happen anyways. These colleges are gonna be in for a shock when this group of kids shows up.
