It's a case by case basis. Not everyone can have the time/courage/resources/energt to just "find ways" for you.

This is why so many people have this toxic mindset of wanting to be treated like this "prize" because they "deserve it".

That is absolutely true, we are all gold. We deserve nice things and great people in our lives... but that's if we treat ourselves as gold too and not give that responsibility to other people, and then deem them as bad friends or bad SOs if they can't give us what we want.

It's our responsibility to love ourselves, lavish ourselves and take care ourselves in the best way possible. Friends, SOs, we need them, but we can be have the best people around us if we're also aware of us being the best people for them.
