demographic colonization has already occurred in terms of class, which seems apparent across all racial and ethnic lines. the legacy of rent seeking economics has left the working classes to remain as consumers of poisons (goods, ideology, media, etc) and diffusing the pressure of class struggle by fighting each other for scraps, creating further downward pressure. now you have things like the fentanyl crisis going on in the west which is being sensationalized in russian media as reverse opium wars. it doesn't help alleviating apathy either when real estate has become a global speculative commodity with prices so high in some areas you'd literally have to slave away your whole life to have a chance to pay off the mortgage on. what wealth is left for the common man? in asia, although violent crime may not be as much a threat in the west, white-collar crime is institutionalized. the digitized and cashless nature of modern economics has only made it easier for the 1% to accumulate and hoard wealth. there exists a great moral hazard in this which begs the question of whether class collaboration is a wise choice in this day and age.

canada is a different situation in terms of immigration. the basis for canada's palingenetic myth (national rebirth) is essentially to ramp up immigration to higher and higher levels because expanded infrastructure for a population below replacement rate is going to be underutilized, if not go derelict. century initiative posits a projected population goal of 100,000,000 by 2100. current liberal government is looking to further decrease trade with usa and britain as to not be appendages. the tech is there to expand the north much like the russians have done but it's not really part of the national consciousness therefore the initiative is lacking. people are more concerned about the red herring that is nationwide marijuana legalization.
