ZiggyD's interview with Wyatt Cheng about Patch 2.2

Your comment sounds bullshit. I played poe since closed beta. Got 11 stash tabs but I never used more than 5 of them. Stash tabs doesn't make a HUGE difference. They give 4 free stash tabs to users, which is enough for most. (1 for currencies/gems, 1 for maps, 1 for chaos recipe, 1 for selling items, unless you plan to list every crappy unique you have an globally set 1 alc buyout) Having more stash tab is an advantage because you can sell more things/rely on other recipes, save white gear for future chancing and such, but the advantage is minimal.

P2W is a term in gaming that is used for games/companies that sell overpowered stuff in their cash shop. Like Blizzard enables PVP and sells 6K DPS furnace on cash shop so you can 1 hit non-paying players? That is P2W. Stash tabs? No. That is how most non-p2w games survive anyway. Inventory spaces, stash spaces, auction tickets, auction spaces, guild stash, global chat messagers, cosmetic stuff etc.

I think we need some more stash tabs and it wouldn't be P2W

Why the fuck stash space becomes PW2 and stash tabs not? What is the difference?

But in D3 we don't need that much space, since we can't trade.

Really? People have been using mules for the decades to place their sets. After 2.2, even mules doesn't help because each class has multiple useful sets/build defining legendaries. We have 12 character slots, so it is basically: play with each class, create mule for each class, store other stuff in stash. (e.g useful rings, weapons, armors, grift keys, skill gems, normal gems, uber keys, accessories) Players also need to stall gear. For example, I have a Furnace on my barb, and I have one more furnace in my stash that I keep for non-str classes. Perhabs I can replace Flying Dragon with Furnace in the future for my Monk. Also, I'm currently storing a STR T&T for a possible future build which may involve ancients. (It was with IK set in early PTR) What if in patch 2.3 barbs get a pet set? Should I salvage my T&T and spend 30K bloodshards to get it again on 2.3? Our stashes are filled with items like this.

Seriously, my petdoc started to carry his Jade set in his inventory since there is no room left, and people are like: "We don't need more stash tabs." "Stash tabs make the game P2W." Yeah, SURE.

Lastly, please do the math and tell me how many stash tabs I would get on PoE if I were to spend my D3/RoS price on PoE. 80? 100?
