If you want to spend less on a smaller storage drive you can.

If you want to spend less on a case I'd recommend looking at NZXT, Bitfenix, Fractal Design Corsair, or Rosewill. None will be as cool or quite, but they will be much cheaper.

If you want it even quieter you can get some Kraken G10s for your GPU, and some low RPM high flow fans for the case. Also if you want to OC hard you can grab the KGNP versions of the 980s, and a higher power PSU.

IF you want to max out your budget you can go with an X99 build (probably a 5820K), but it wont do much for gaming right now. It will allow you to replace your CPU and RAM many years from now without replacing the mobo if you care about that.

As far as mouse/keyboard are two guides for selection those, as they are too subjective for me to really be able to recommend: Mouse: https://geekhack.org/index.php?topic=56240.0 Keyboard: http://www.overclock.net/t/491752/official-mechanical-keyboard-guide Same goes for headphones, although here I would highly recommend the Audio-technica MX-50 with a clip on or separate mic.

If you have any questions or need anything clarified/updated feel free to ask.
