33 year old instructor arrested for having sex with 17 year old student- guess the response!

Gay guy here, 28yo. Met someone online when I was 17. He was 35, he drove halfway across the state to meet me on a night when I had the apartment to myself and some of my friends.

I remember him bringing a 6-pack of some beer (Pink Dragon flavor, whatever that is) and him giving me a smack on the lips in the kitchen, in front of my high-school/early college-aged friends. They weren't all staring at us on display, but we didn't make any attempt at hiding it. They could have been all talking to each other and didn't even see, I don't know.

Afterwards, when we were alone, we attempted...that, but he hadn't brought lube, and it failed. I'll leave it there.

But I remember us talking about how he was more than twice my age, and that I was okay with that. Specifically.

He asked me if I would be okay with moving to his city, and living with him, and wearing a shirt that said BOY TOY...I said yes, that I would love to live with him and be his plaything. I meant it at the time. I was fucking stupid at the time. I hadn't had any sexual encounters, I was in awe of this guy that seemed to want me in his life, I felt like I'd do anything he'd ask of me.

He went home the next day. We were "boyfriends." I told my friends about him. I finally had a boyfriend.

I tried to call him. Nothing. I texted him. Nothing. I got tired of it.

When my friends asked about my "boyfriend" I told them that we broke up.

He never answered any messages of mine...Until a couple of years later, when I was in college. He sent a message "I'm sorry if I did anything to hurt you, please forgive me. Can I see you?"

By that time I knew what was up. This almost 40-year old dude was trying to get with a teenager. Minimal effort apology/attempt to see again.

Shit, I don't even have a resolution for this post. I didn't have the balls to confront him about getting with someone less than half his age.

I just ignored his messages.

*Just checked his profile, he has the same pic that he had 11 years ago, which isn't all that uncommon on the site, to tell the truth.
