$5 silicon sponge that apparently actually works? (Korean - everyone knows they're magical)

I'm not sure, I really was just kind of guessing. And I understand getting excited about a product, we all do that! But at the same time (after I reread your post) I can kind of see how it can be perceived as an ad. Everything in the video seemed too good to be true, and then then you kind of ended it saying that you posted it for others to check out, which a lot of people take as you pushing a product on them. Maybe try asking for other opinions before telling people this product is super amazing especially when you haven't tried it out for yourself yet.

As for the comment on fetishizing, I get that you didn't mean it like that, but everyone thinks differently and will find some things offensive. For example, I'm Native American (a member of the Navajo nation) and it's almost Halloween so I have to deal with people doing makeup looks/wearing costumes that I find incredibly offensive. Not all Natives feel this way, a lot of people don't care and most people don't mean any of it in a mean or offensive way. It doesn't change how I feel though. And I'm not trying to say that what you said is the same as cultural appropriation, it was just the only example I could think of lol.

It was maybe just poor choice of wording in your post OP, it doesn't make you a bad person or like you're some new-product pusher lol. Next time you post about something you're excited about just ask yourself if it sounds like you're a rep of the product, if it does, your post is going to come off as an ad.
