Abortion is not only a women's rights issue, it is a workers rights issue

I've always considered it a class issue.

Wealthy women don't have to worry about how a child can affect their lives. Ever seen a "right to life" march? Mostly upper class white women with their little Republican robot children. (The working class conservative women are at their jobs; not taking planes to the capital.)

If you point out that having a child may in fact cripple another woman financially, these women are the first ones to spout off that others "should keep their legs closed." It's a way for upper class women to slut shame working class women. That in and of itself is way for upper class women to feel better about themselves for either being born into or marrying into money; because we all know very few actually rise above the class they are born into anymore.

This, along with the religious right, is who the politicians are pandering to. They need these votes so they can get into office and ensure there are plenty enough little babies born. Plenty enough, that is, to ensure there is an endless supply of workers competing for a dwindling amount of jobs. This is what pleases the corporate donors.

It's a unholy union between all these parties, and yes, and it very much hates the working class.
