[Actual Title] My boyfriends “friend” tricked him into smuggling meth

I'm old fashioned and always go through the clerks when I mail stuff out, and I don't recall ever having to prove my identity or anything either. I usually pay with a card so they could link me to the packages through that, but you can pay in cash no problem there too. Guess the clerk could potentially ID me as Jane Doe at 123 Street Avenue if I were to put a fake name on the return address, but I can't imagine most would remember individual customers that much.

There are presumably security cameras and stuff, I guess, but in this case they made the arrangements through text messages so she's still linked to it if that's what she's worried about.

I think the real risk in delivery is for the recipient, usually from my understanding they just do a controlled delivery, bust the person picking up the package, and then that person usually gives up what they know about whoever sent them drugs. Though all the cases like that I've personally seen involved buying stuff from strangers on the dark web and it was also considerably less than several pounds of meth.
