Adapting is right

It is fine not to be interested in the competitive scene, but I don't think that it is hurtful to have more posts and content around high level gameplay/clips. Every post doesn't need to be centered around it, but it could add a lot of interest to those who are more than casual fans off the game.

Currently, if you are more than a casual fan there is no real appeal to this subreddit. Memes aren't even allowed on here, which for the few days they were was the only time in years I had some interest frequeting r/smite.

There might even be people who frequent this subreddit that may not even know there is a proper competitive scene containing multiple "divisions". If there were more posts/content surrounding conquest/competitive itself it could spark more interest for those who aren't aware and would like to get into it more. If you are a high level player there is nothing to keep you engaged in this subreddit, which in turn means that the competitive players also seperate themself from a large portion of the community.
