I get that cheating a verbal abuse and threatening behavior are bad things but when you’re fighting a lot at the end of a volatile relationship sometimes some really nasty things get said and people will scream and yell. If this is the case, I’m sure she wasn’t the saint she describes herself to be in this. People don’t just start screaming out of the blue. He shouldn’t have cheated and he shouldn’t have gaslit or screamed at her but if he didn’t put his hands on her this is a way different accusation.
