Am I the only Conservative who believes we need reform, rather than an increased budget for solving healthcare?

The amount of managers in the NHS is a symptom of partial privatization dude... it didn't used to be that way.

That's why the trend started happening. The NHS moved to an internal pseudo-market model and the ones which hired managers kept outperforming those who didn't, because managers are able to enforce efficiency gains.

I would urge you to look into it rather than just assuming the problem.

If you think "The problem is all these managers" then the solution is simple. Completely reverse all thatcherite and blairite reforms to the NHS.

But the efficiency would drop, I have to tell you. The problem really is a lack of funding and an aging population, it's nothing more than that.
