This. One of my closest friends used "cut" our friendship whenever she fell for a boy. Cut is between quotes because we never stopped being friends, she would just make him a priority and forget everyone else. I'm not mad at her tbh, but it leaves a hole in my chest

Also, my cousin and I used to very close when I was little. Eventually she started to push me aside and would spend all her time with her boyfriend (ex now). This case did make me feel awful and abandoned, I was just 7 so yeah... I couldn't comprehend at all. What really made me frustrated was the fact that I accepted that she wouldn't give me any attention and I moved on. I made new friends and she said that I was the one abandoning her for my new friends (????)

Sorry for the vent, I could relate to your post and I felt the need to take this out of my chest. It makes me feel better to know I'm not the only one
