So america, Just how easy is it to buy a gun? because yet again another mentalist has decided to go on a shooting spree. Is it time for a drastic change in gun control?

Australia has a very low rate of gun mass shootings especially the Port Arthur Massacre

First, thanks a fuck ton for your totally cold and absent expression of sympathy for the victims of this latest shooting. Aussie cunt.

With respect to your claims of "gun mass shootings" - fair point.

But what I always have to ask is -- is it the gun part of the equation you are concerned about?

Or do you care about the number of murders and suicides?

If it's just gun deaths -- good job.

But tell me, how has the overall rate of murder or suicide been affected?

According to your own government after 1996 the homicide rate dipped a bit -- and then even after strict gun control, rose up sharply. It's only been in the last few years the homicide numbers have dropped lower than they were at the time of Port Arthur.

So yeah, if it's gun homicides that bother you, well done.

If it's just homicides in general -- it's not so clear your gun control has helped.

And suicide -- which has previously been the highest number of gun related deaths -- is at an all time high in Australia. Even long after strict gun control.

So gun control works in taking away guns. I am not convinced it helps prevent deaths.
