An apology is in order, this project has been woefully maintained by me in recent times.

If you truly believe what you've written here, you're delusional. Are you fucking kidding me? You're going to tell someone else that they don't understand what it takes to run a server? This coming from the person who would schedule weekly auctions and then not log on for three weeks. This is from the same 'server owner' who would let the server crash and be offline for 2-3 days at a time. This is from the same 'server owner' who let people assemble invincible sets of armor and would not fix it for nearly three weeks. This is also from the same 'server owner' who does not have a playable server.

And what is this bullshit about legitimacy? As if you have any claim to it yourself? Legitimacy comes from hard work, and I'm working with a lot of hard workers who just want to make a good server for this mod. Our server won't have any players? And why is that, genius? What do you think a server run by one person offers players that a server run by an active staff with over 10 members can't do better? Working by yourself versus working with a staff, you're not going to get far.

This entire post is a direct result of me messaging you, because you know you're going to become irrelevant to the future of this mod if you don't give up your illusion of control that, news flash, you do not have. Don't make up any bullshit about the 'scope of work' being too much for us to handle. I have more than two years of experience managing minecraft servers, and know your community and staff far better than you.

And 'when my server fails'? And when will that be, fishy? Because apparently I need to spell it out for you, your server already has failed. You've failed to deliver on the most basic of promises you make as a server owner, that you value your players' data, time, and effort. You had no server backup even close to the time your server host closed, you have no records of important player data, and you clearly couldn't care less about their time or effort, based on how long your server has been down.

If you still think at this point that you're somehow entitled to respect, or players, or sole proprietorship of this project, then there's no point in us continuing a discussion. You're not deserving of this community, and they know it.
