I got a Jetson a couple months back and it’s my first ebike. It’s super basic and I love it for getting around the city, no frills. Of course I wanted to see if I can mod it to make it faster, here’s what I’ve done.

I did the speed hack with an arduino board, it did a slight boost from 22km/h to about 25km/h, on the stock battery.

I got a 36v 30ah battery, and that brought the bike to about 29km/h.

I upped the arduino speed hack to 25 mph (accept the agreement to make it work) and added a dc to dc 1500w 15a boost converter. I’ve adjusted the voltage to 48v and now I get 35km/h.

I wanted to keep it as stock looking as possible, sleeper looking ebike. I added a toggle switch to the boost converter to not drain the battery.
