Regardless of the situation, he wanted out of New York. No fan of any team will ever support a star player forcing their way out nor should they. I'm happy KP is in a better spot and is actually winning some games but I would've absolutely booed him if I were there. He didn't just leave the organization, he left the fans. We watched him grow into a star and he made MSG fun at a time where it would've otherwise have been dull. He was honestly the first real glimmer of hope Knicks fans have had this entire century, so for him to just up and leave hurt. And either way he's a big boy, he can handle some boos. I have no idea why people care so much honestly, it's a part of the game
