Went to the first comic con a few years back (can’t remember exactly which year), so I must have been about 20/21. I felt weirdly out of place despite being a fan of anime and video games.

Something about the whole cosplay thing, girls acting “kawaii”, neckbeard dudes, and all that really makes me feel uncomfortable. It’s hard to explain. Almost like you’re surrounded by children and pre-teens, except a lot of them are the same age or older than you. But then, I’ve always been about 15 years ahead of my age in terms of maturity.

Don’t like to shit on people’s parade, it’s harmless and I suppose a lot of people really enjoy it, but it’s not for me.
