Attack on Guru Gobind Singh Ji, as per me, is not hypothetical. I don't know if you believe it or not. & yes, those pathan were unarmed in a flash of second. They were held by Singhs from back, with their arms held tightly behind their backs. Again, I know its not hypothetical. It is real. It happened about ~400 years ago.

Head's of countries getting attacked is also not hypothetical at all. Since human history, rulers & chiefs & kings have been attacked, & if possible, their attackers have been shot & killed in a flash. Doesn't matter if the attacker was ill or fine.
