Anthony Burch being hired at Riot Games is extremely concerning and here's why

I feel that when being hired for a major company looking to appeal to a mass of audiences it's best not to try to harm the company due to your personal beliefs. The goal of the company hiring you is to get their game to be the best that it can be, not to force your political or social beliefs. Quite personally I did not like BL2 too much, like he said, certain characters personalities seemed to be forced, but I don't think that changing the lore of league of legends in any way would be detrimental to the game. Honestly, at this point riot could chew up the lore and spit it back out (which honestly is what's been happening) and it is the same game.

As far as the statement where he says that by making the story worse it would benefit the real world, I think it's a little convoluted to state that, seeing as the majority of people playing games in one way or another does it to escape the world. I don't want to see Hillary Clinton or Donald Trump adverts while playing my video games, my video game is not a political or social platform(well, in some aspects.)

I just find it to be a poor idea to hire someone who blatantly states their willingness to ruin a company for their personal beliefs.

I've been playing since early season 1 as well.

I know exactly why they hired Burch, and it will be an up and coming thing to make league of legends, let's just say more "Real" the path that they are taking is wrong though.
