[Anthony Slater] LeBron James reiterates that Cavaliers don't want to slow pace vs Warriors: "That's not our game. We don't play slow down basketball."

You continue to mischsracterize my argument and your point seems to have very little substance, so I'll stop arguing with you after this. Once you've descended to ad hominem, it's effectively over as a useful debate.

However, Lebron's court vision and passing ability are among the best ever across all positions. He is often compared to Magic Johnson for that reason. Do you truly believe that brute strength and speed allow Lebron to drop 8 assists a game? That is fucking ludicrous.

Look at his passing out of the pick and roll, watch him whipping no look cross court passes at high velocity. Seriously, just watch Lebron highlights. A good amount of them will be passes.

It is odd to discount Lebron for his physical attributes. Lebron is top 3 all time because his passing, dribbling and court awareness are unprecedented for a player of his size.

I don't know where you get the idea that he is guarded by overmatched players constantly, at least in a physical sense. KD is 7 feet tall. Jae Crowder is hugely athletic and crafty on D for his size. PJ Tucker is widely considered to be the strongest SF in the league. Lebron steamrolls these guys because he is talented in all areas of the game, not just because of his body.

Measuring NBA players historically is about their contributions to winning basketball games.

It isn't about some nebulous ratio of contributions : physical abilities. That's absurd and ineffective in the pursuit of making meaningful analytic comparisons and judgements.
