Do any of you keep cards in your wallet?

For a night, I double sleeved Farmgirl, Eclipser, and Strawman and put them in my wallet. Note: I ended up just keeping the Farmgirl in my wallet because I still needed the other two in my deck and I only main 2 Farmgirls...plus 3 cards in wallet is overdoing it. I still have the double sleeved FG for good luck. Why? Because after five regionals (and four failed attempts), I was on the cusp of qualifying for Nats. I was 6-2 heading into the final round. A win would seal it, a loss would put me in good position to miss out again. I sat down, and I prayed for any deck but DracoPals. I had a winning record against any kind of deck, but to be quite frank, I just sucked against them. Probably win like close to 1/3 of my Draco matches.

Game One: He wins dice roll, plays Draco Face off, I Maxx C. He sets a scale, normal summons. I OTK him. I start to feel a little more at ease, but I know I've been here before just to be disappointed. My last regionals ended with me just missing out and I had lost my critical match to the same deck.

Game Two dragged on. I lose. Here we go again I thought.

Game Three. Opening hand. I kind of brick. It's over I thought. But so did he. By the time I got decent cards to get going, he flips Iron Wall. So I'm left with an empty field except for an Eclipser that I got out with my Farmgirl. So I attack his face down with an Eclipser. Goes to pendulum zone. We do this for a few turns as we both bricked hard (well, he did, but I got Iron Walled by the time my hand turned decent). I draw Strike, Forerunner. Useless. But he doesn't get what he needs either....at least not yet. He sets a monster. By then, he has one high scale, a set Solemn Scolding, a bunch of shit in the pendulum zone. I know that with one draw, he can turn this thing around just like that. I draw into Strawman. Normal Summon him, used its effect, bring out Farmgirl. At this point, I sat there with my hands on my head. Two Scenarios played in my head:

  1. Attack with Farmgirl first to clear his field and go for game with Eclipser and Strawman.

  2. Play it safe, attack with Eclipser, then attack with Farmgirl and Strawman and get Farmgirl's search off.

The problem with option 2 is that if he draws into a low scale, he's gonna go off and probably can go for game.

After wondering for what felt like forever, I risked it all. I attacked with Farmgirl, and I beat over some monster with low defense and sent it to the pendulum zone. My opponent extended for a handshake. I finally did it.

I keep a card from that winning combo for good luck now.
