Any WASPI women here who had their FIRE plans scuppered or changed by that change in pension age?

After a quick google apparently it means "Women Against State Pension Inequality", and the gist is that when the age women were allowed to retire was changed to be the same as the age men were, some women felt this unfair and sought compensation.

Now admittedly my understanding is very limited, but I don't understand how this is unequal? Especially considering that women live on average longer than men and will therefore on average receive more years of state pension.

I think it's shite that the state pension age is so high and I think a lot of people will really struggle because of this, but I don't understand how anyone can say that having the age be the same for both men and women to receive state pension is an inequality.

If you could enlighten me on your views I'd appreciate it.
