What's the gym situation?

Closest gym is gonna be "the rock". Its near both sets of dorms. Gets busy but not horrible. Wifi inside the gym. Its a meyal structure surrounded by T walls. Have to use two pair of shoes to enter. Wear one to the gym. Take em off then put other shoes on and work out. I wore my boots in pt gear then switched to shoes.

How's the food? Its not bad but not great. The dragon will be the centrally located DFAC. Three lines, 1 has different food. Morning i ate 5 eggs scrambled with veggies. Lots of fruit if you get their early. Plenty of sides to choose from. Lunch and dinner are so so. They did wings on tuesday or Wednesday, steak on sunday, i ate chicken breast and rice with most meals.

What kind of Internet access is there? wifi will be in the dorms both free and pay to use. I recommend the free., 5/6 tent, vulture rec building, some work offices, gym, i bought a hotspot of someone who was leaving. You reload the simcard at the PX for 20 bucks. Its pretty slow but able to do messenger and texting while your out of WIFI range.

Anything I should or should not bring with me?

Bring your usual soap and stuff, 5 or 6 sand tees and pt shirts(laundry is 3 to 4 day turnaround), bring a power strip to utilize one outlet to make 5 or 6, dont bring too much soap/toiletries. Plenty of stuff to buy at the mini PX (think basic training shopette/essential clothing sales.

How's the sleeping situation? Two sets of dorms unless your a chick. Both are near laundry/drac/gym. 4 to 6 to a room, most beds were new but bring a comfy pillow and blanket. Also bring sheets to close off your bed for privacy if you want. Sinple $2 black sheet from walmart will fo. rooms had a/c units. All are hardened facilities for when you get attacked. When i arrived we were in seavan containers.

Whats your afsc and i could probably tell you where you will be working etc. Not opsec wise but general location.
